Nintendo eShop Update – Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, Fly Cat, RiffTrax: The Game, Unsouled

For once, there’s a pretty digestible list of new Nintendo eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch lined up for the week.

A few highlights include Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, Fly Cat, RiffTrax: The Game, Unsouled, Car Parking Simulator, Nirvana, and several others.

  • Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch
    • Chronicle of Eiyuden: Rising – Embark on a thrilling adventure through ancient ruins with the story of a city’s rebirth from its ashes. What begins as a simple treasure hunt turns into a dark plot that will shake the world. Lured by a treasure in the nearby Runebarrows, our heroes learn that the town is struggling to rebuild after an earthquake, so they decide to help. But these Runebarrows hide a big secret with fatal implications. This action RPG features some of the cast of Eiyuden Chronicle characters in an original story with thrilling combat and engaging city-upgrading elements. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be available on May 10.

    • Enjoy Mother’s Day with Nintendo Switch – With Mother’s Day fast approaching, what better way to celebrate mom than with a fun day of dating and playing? A free demo is also available in Nintendo eShop, so you can try out some of these classic tabletop games before purchasing the full experience to see if it’s right for the mom in your life!


  • The Dark Wanderer rang The Ladder’s first ranked season is now live in Diablo II: Risen! Climb the leaderboards with scale-specific characters in this optional competitive system. Leaderboards reset between each Ladder Season, so you can stock up on your hard-earned loot and Ladder-specific items as a new Ladder Season awaits.
  • Fortnite x STAR WARS – Celebrate STAR WARS Day by fortnitebut not only on May 4and! STAR WARS items from past years are not vaulted until May 17! Use these items in special quests to unlock an Empire Banner. Additionally, all non-Battle Pass STAR WARS outfits that were in the Item Shop will return from a galaxy far, far away.

Nintendo adds new games to the Nintendo eShop every week, which offers a variety of options for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles, the Wii U console, and the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles.
