Crunchyroll brings its massive anime library to Nintendo Switch

Crunchyroll is rolling out to the Nintendo Switch today.

Anime fans have more ways to enjoy their favorite content on the go. Crunchyroll launched its app globally on the Nintendo Switch with over 1,000 series and 30,000 episodes for subscribers to watch. The app includes series like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and A play.

Fans can watch through their Nintendo Switch console, either connected at home or taken on the go. It even comes with offline viewing support, which is pretty nice for anyone on the go.

“With this launch, Crunchyroll will become the first streaming app to offer offline viewing on Nintendo Switch and one of the few SVOD apps on the game console,” the company said.

“Fans can access the Crunchyroll app to enjoy ad-supported anime or through their Crunchyroll subscription to enjoy unlimited anime without ads, with series simulcasting on the day and date of the Japan premiere” , they added.

Crunchyroll is also available on iOS and Android mobile and tablet devices, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Roku, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast.
