Pokemon Legends: Arceus total sales revealed

The Nintendo Switch has seen massive releases over the years, but only one has sold out faster than Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

It’s been almost a week since the release date of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Nintendo’s biggest first-party title for quite some time.

A few graphical complaints aside, it looks like Pokemon Legends is the open-world Pokemon title that fans have always been asking for. And if there was any question as to whether the main series will remain open-world, just look at these sales numbers for your answer.

It’s no surprise that Pokemon Legends: Arceus already has DLC on the way, according to new reports.

And it looks like a total of 158 new Pokémon will be coming to the game soon!

Pokemon Legends: Arceus becomes the second best-selling Switch game

According to a new article from Famitsu, Pokemon Legends: Arceus surpassed 1.425 million sales in the first 3 days of release.

This huge number makes the title the second-best first week for a Nintendo Switch title since the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. That’s not too surprising, given how Pokemon Legends: Arceus streams are exploding in popularity online.

For reference, New Horizons hit a whopping 1.881 million in its first week. However, we have yet to hear exactly how many sales Arceus can achieve in a full 7 days.

If the rumors are true, Mega Evolution could be coming to Pokemon Legends: Arceus very soon. We are sure that this popular feature will attract many returning fans who are undecided about the game.

But are complaints about Pokemon Legends’ graphics justified? It’s fair to say that the game isn’t Breath of the Wild, even years after it launched.
