February 2022 Nintendo Switch Games Release Dates

February is shaping up to be a promising start to the month of video game launches for the Nintendo Switch. Let’s go ahead and list the main releases expected during the next month of February 2022.

Maglam Lord – February 4

The newest JRPG from hell seeks to captivate gamers with a combination of unique story, graphics, and gameplay. As the demon lords of hell have lost their status or live on, you wake up as the last, hoping to take over hell and repopulate your realm. This being the case, you seek new friends and partners with whom to bond and gain power to become Maglam Lord.

Zorya: The Celestial Sisters – February 8

A beautiful independent title that will be played like a cooperative game. You play as both the sisters of the moon and the sun as they try to reunite and stabilize the balance of the world that they have ruined with their petty rivalry. This game promises to deliver an immersive and beautiful co-op friend experience, and one can’t help but reflect on last year’s “Game of the Year,” It Takes Two.

OlliOlli World – February 8

OlliOlli World is a bold new skateboarding action platform that’s bursting with personality. With both beautiful and unique cartoon graphics and promised gameplay that will knock your socks off, this promises to be the ultimate skate game.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 Remaster HD – February 10

A complete remaster of all 6 Kingdom Hearts games that will allow Nintendo fans to finally fully immerse themselves in the series. It will include KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories, KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (remastered HD cutscenes), KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep Final MIX and KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (remastered HD cutscenes)

Kingdom Hearts III + Remind Cloud Version – February 10

Kingdom Hearts III is a game that features an older/mature Sora. As he fights alongside his normal crew of Donald, Goofy and of course Mickey; to explore powerful and immersive new Disney worlds. Alongside all the other Kingdom Hearts editions, this seems like an amazing game to pick up alongside others.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires – February 15

According to the dev team, DW9 is set to deliver the “Three Kingdoms Romance” trope. It will follow the military officers on either side of the warring nations and their struggles as they begin to fall in love or be friends with the enemies on the various sides. It seems like a Fire Emblem: Three Houses plot set in the DW-style universe, and I’m here for it.

Assassins Creed: The Ezio Collection – February 17

Arguably, the best, if not just the classic Assassin’s Creed titles should launch on the Switch. All three of Ezio’s adventures will be available on a handheld device for the first time.

Monark – February 22

The brand new tactical JRPG that plays like Fire Emblem and tells a story like Persona is here to knock us off our feet. A group of high school kids are sucked into an “other world” full of demons that they must defeat with their new ego powers. The title I’m definitely most excited for is Monark for February, its beautiful visuals and hopefully original storytelling looking to take consoles by storm.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of Mysterious Dreams – February 25

Another addition to the ever-popular Atelier series, The Alchemist of The Mysterious Dream is another story that follows the alchemist Sophie. After the events of her previous adventures, she now goes looking for her old friend in the always confusing and unpredictable “dream world”.

While there are certainly other games looking to release on the Nintendo Switch in February, I think these will be the most notable, best-received, and highest-rated titles for February 2022. If you’d like to see some of our best February releases for Xbox or PlayStation, click the links!
