Astroneer is now available on Nintendo Switch

After a long wait, the game from System Era Softworks is finally available on all platforms (except mobile).

The moment has finally arrived ! The critically acclaimed interstellar sandbox adventure from System Era Softworks, Astroneer, is now available on Nintendo Switch. To commemorate this milestone, players can experience the new Xenobiology content update, which is available on all platforms and has already attracted over 8 million players.

Astroneer is a survival game, but due to less pressure from its “survival” features, it has always felt more like a sandbox. In adventure mode, you will die if you run out of oxygen; a gauge on your backpack shows how much oxygen you have left. However, oxygen is easily replenished from buildings, vehicles, or crafting tethers that connect players to an oxygen line.

As a result, Astroneer suitable for those who like basic crafting and management but want to do it in a relaxed setting. The game places players in the role of an astronaut on a randomly created planet where they must gather resources, build a base, and explore the vastness of space.
