Monster Hunter Rise dominates Japanese Nintendo eShop in 2021

When it comes to sales, it’s not only important to look at physical game sales, but digital sales as well. Nintendo eShop has plenty of titles between AAA titles and indie titles within its reach. And at the end of 2021, there’s a very understandable leader to top the Japanese charts, and that’s Monster Hunter Rise.

Why is this understandable? Japan is the biggest buyer of Monster hunter games, even with the rise of the playoffs in the west. And Rise has been selling very well since its launch.
