Shin Megami Tensei V launches on Nintendo Switch
After long receiving updates, gameplay teasers, and more, the day has finally come to fight alongside the Nahobino.
Shin Megami Tensei V, one of the most anticipated titles of the year for the Switch, is now available exclusively on the Nintendo device, according to Atlus and Sega of America.
The return of Shin Megami Tensei
Our protagonist’s return journey is interrupted by a bloody murder scene in today’s Tokyo, which somewhat follows the plot of the Shin megami tensei series. After an unexpected diversion buries him and renders him unconscious, he wakes up in a new Tokyo, an apocalypse-ravaged wasteland now known as Da’at.

Surrounded by wild demons to take back his life, a rescuer appears, and they band together to become a powerful entity neither human nor demonic: a Nahobino. With his newfound power, the protagonist travels through Da’at, a mysterious region teeming with mythological deities and demonic dictators fighting for existence. To get answers, the protagonist must build their own path in a war between light and darkness to determine the fate of the planet.
Investigate the enormous post-apocalyptic Tokyo. As you build an allusive storyline full of tragic decisions, the game is rendered entirely in stunning 3D using Unreal Engine 4, a first for the kernel. Shin megami tensei series. This is why you must make sacrifices in order to stand up for your values ââwhile following the light or pleading with the darkness in order to determine your place in the new world.
