A Boy and His Blob bounces back on Nintendo Switch in November

Editor Ziggurat Interactive and Developer WayForward announced this A boy and his blob arrives on the Nintendo Switch eShop with a release date of November 4, 2021, priced at $ 14.99. This is a port of the 2009 Wii game, which in turn was a reinvention of the 1989 NES game, A boy and his blob: problem on Blobolonia. The Wii title received a positive reception upon its release, so hopefully this unique puzzle platformer will be just as fun over a decade later. The game has a special “hug” button, which is surely a step in the right direction.

Here are the features to be expected in A boy and his blob on Nintendo Switch, with exclamation marks to emphasize how exciting it is:

  • Experience a heartwarming story told through beautiful hand-drawn and animated illustrations!
  • Feed Drops Jelly Beans to activate 15 helpful transformations like Tangerine Trampoline, Licorice Ladder, and Root Rocket.
  • Travel through woods, swamps, caves, the outskirts of Blobolonian and even the Emperor’s Citadel through 40 breathtaking levels filled with hidden treasures!
  • Collect treasure chests to unlock 40 additional challenge levels that will put your skills to the ultimate test!

A boy and his blob was led by Sean Valasco, who would go on to found Yacht Club Games and donate Knight Shovel in the world.
